Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Jerisha, whose dad passed on when her mom was 9months pregnant with her a year ago! She and eight elder siblings were left under the care of their widowed mom who only knows how to work in the garden to grow food for their consumption! One of our friends decided to sponsor her and secure her education!

Spending time with Jerisha and her family was so precious to us at their humble home in Kayunga! We sat together, shared stories, and took time to understand how life is going for the family: their joys, their challenges, and the things they are trusting God for. For us, sponsorship is about more than providing support. It is about relationship, care, prayer, and walking alongside children and their families. Before leaving their home, we gathered together in prayer, committing Jerisha, her family, their future, and every need into God’s hands. We are deeply grateful to all our friends, sponsors, and partners who choose to stand with children like Jerisha.
