Meet Suzan, one of the incredible teen leaders at Afaayo Bible Church.

Her heart beats for God. Whether she’s leading worship or gently guiding little ones in Sunday school, Suzan serves with joy and passion.

“I love teaching in Sunday school,” she shares. “I want these children to understand the love of Jesus — the One who said, ‘Let the little ones come to Me.’”

For Suzan, worship is more than a song. It’s where she finds peace in the midst of life’s storms.

“Being in God’s presence helps me forget the struggles at home.”

Home hasn’t always been easy. Suzan lives with her single father and two younger sisters. For a while, school fees were an ongoing burden and being sent home for not paying on time became all too familiar.

But then came a turning point. Through the Afaayo Mission Next Generation program, Suzan was sponsored, and everything began to shift.

“I’m so grateful to God. Now I don’t have to worry about missing school. I can focus on my studies and work hard toward my dream of becoming a doctor.”

But Suzan didn’t just find help with school; she found family.

“Afaayo Bible Church became my safe place. Pastor Grace and Pastor Michael have poured so much love, care, and mentorship into my life. It’s changed me.”

Today, Suzan is growing into a confident, faith-filled young woman. She’s serving with excellence, dreaming boldly, and inspiring others around her.
