At Afaayo Africa Ministries, we are not just a relief organization—we are a church transforming lives through the power of the Gospel. With five church plants in Entebbe and Mbarara, our mission has reached over 2,500 people, started 15 sustainability projects for mothers, and discipled over 500 children. We have equipped 90 single and teenage mothers in leadership and family welfare, supported 10 children in school, and provided relief food to 25,000 individuals in need.
For the past nine years, we have nurtured a strong children’s ministry that has grown into a vibrant team of young adults. These young leaders, who started in Sunday school, are now:
✅ Leading worship and playing instruments
✅ Running media and sound production
✅ Teaching Sunday school
✅ Leading cell groups in their communities
Uganda’s population consists of 50% children (0-17 years) and 24% youth (18-30 years)—the same demographic we serve. However, 37.2% of lower secondary school students drop out due to financial hardships, while 28% of girls leave school due to poor sanitary conditions. Many face teenage pregnancy, homelessness, and addiction, with their families struggling to support them.
Afaayo Africa is committed to ensuring these passionate young church leaders complete their education and gain skills for a sustainable future. We have identified 30 dedicated students in urgent need of support:
