Providing both food and school fees is a daily struggle for my parents. Many times, I saw them worried and helpless, trying to make ends meet. But even through these challenges, I never lost hope.

My Afaayo Story

I joined Afaayo Bible Church when I was only seven years old. I grew up in the kids’ ministry, learning Bible stories, singing, and praying. Now, at 17, I serve on the worship team, sound team, and media team.

Afaayo has been my second home. Through it, I have learned practical skills like setting up sound equipment, connecting instruments, and photography. I have also grown spiritually—learning how to pray, read the Bible, and boldly share my faith.

Lessons That Shaped Me

  • From Noah’s story, I learned that God is powerful and faithful, and I must remain obedient to Him.
  • From Job’s story, I learned that even when everything is taken away, God tests our faith to bless us even more.

These lessons have kept me strong, reminding me to stay humble, faithful, and focused on God no matter what life brings.

How Afaayo Changed My Life

Before Afaayo, I was just a boy struggling with life’s challenges. Today, I am a peaceful, humble, and God-fearing young man.

At church, I feel free, happy, and loved. I am surrounded by mentors, friends, and opportunities to serve. Through Afaayo, I discovered my passion for sound and music—a gift I want to develop and use to serve God and impact my community.

A Father’s & Mother’s Heart Through Pastors

Pastor Michael and Pastor Grace have been more than leaders to me—they are like parents. They have given me guidance, counseling, and encouragement to face life with confidence.

When food was scarce at home, they blessed us with food packages. Every time they visited our family with food and essentials, I saw relief and joy on my parents’ faces. They showed us that the church is truly a family that loves and cares.

The Gift of Sponsorship

One of the greatest turning points in my life was when I was told that Afaayo Africa Ministry would pay my school fees. At first, I couldn’t believe it—it felt like a dream. But when I saw the proof that my school fees had been paid, I was overwhelmed with joy.

Afaayo not only pays for my school fees but also for my brother’s. This has lifted a heavy burden from my parents, who were constantly struggling to keep us in school.

Now, when I see other students being sent home because of unpaid fees, I silently thank God that I can stay in class. It is a blessing and an answered prayer.

My Dream for the Future

With my school fees now taken care of, I can focus fully on my studies. My dream is to become a professional sound engineer—one of the best in the country and the world.

I want to use my skills to support my family, bless my community, and give back to the church that raised me. My prayer is to one day bless other children, just as I have been blessed.

My Gratitude

I am deeply grateful to Afaayo Africa Ministry and our wonderful sponsors for standing with me and my brother. Your support has given us hope, education, and joy.

I pray that God will bless you abundantly so you can continue to touch more lives and bring transformation to families like mine.
