It was a moment of great joy and celebration in the Kibuzi community as Erika, one of our dear friends from the USA, commissioned and officially launched the new water source for the community. The day was filled with smiles, laughter, photos, big hugs, and the symbolic cutting of the ribbon—it was truly a memorable occasion!

Prior to the launch, Erika and the team visited the four water distribution points. Along the way, residents expressed their excitement and gratitude as they interacted with the very person who had gifted them this safe water. For many, it was a dream come true. Children will no longer walk long distances or risk fetching dirty water. One single mother joyfully said “This is a real miracle. I will no longer see my children suffer from waterborne diseases, because for them, they just drink without minding whether it is boiled.”

We deeply appreciate Erika for such a big heart. Your generosity has provided Kibuzi village with safe water, bringing health to hundreds of families.

We also want to encourage more friends to come and partner with us in providing clean and safe water to remote villages where access to safe water is still a great challenge.
